Ribbons

1. 

   Navy Cross

   For extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an opposing armed force.

   • This award is given by the CO/XO for actions that take place during combat that are high in merit and are high in strategically planning and thinking combatively

2. 

   Silver Star

   For gallantry in action against an opposing armed force.

   • This award is given by the CO/XO for actions that take place during combat and are exemplary in leadership and combative decisions

3. 

   Distinguished Flying Cross

   For heroism or extraordinary achievement in aerial flight.

   • Air only, This award is given by the CO/XO for actions that take place during aerial combat that are high in strategically planning and thinking combatively

4. 

   Navy and Marine Corps Medal

   For acts of heroism not involving actual conflict with an opposing armed force.

   • Given by the NCOIC/OIC for actions from staff shop personnel that go above and beyond in their duties

5. 

   Bronze Star

   For heroic or meritorious achievement of service, not involving aerial flight in connection with operations against an opposing armed force

   • This award is given out to Squad members that fought off the enemy with and created the initiative to be aggressive and their actions were in the benefit of the Marines directly around them

6. 

   Defense Meritorious Service Medal

   For heroic or meritorious achievement of service, not involving aerial flight in connection with operations against an opposing armed force

   • Given by Air CO/XO for actions that take place during aerial combat that are high in strategically planning and thinking combatively

7. 

   Air Medal

   For meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight

8. 

   Navy Achievement Medal

   For Junior Officers and Senior Enlisted personnel whose professional and/or leadership achievements are clearly of a superlative nature

9. 

   Good Conduct Medal

   Based on conduct for continuous active service
